WINTER DOWNTOWN OPEN

We designed and built an ownable competition series called the "Downtown Open'. A rail-jam-style event that can be easily activated within the heart of Denver. 22 of the world's top snowboarders and skiers competed on a 90ft slope with custom rail features. The event was hosted by X Games legends and Pacifico Brand Ambassador, Jack Mitrani. To ensure turnout, we elevated the event with musical acts by Denver natives, Option4 and SoDown.The event was praised by local media, competing athletes, musical talent, and most importantly Denver Ski/Snow fans. The inaugural event in Denver was so successful, Pacifico asked us to build out a tour-based model for the Downtown open. It is now a national event series- the second installment took place virtually in Chicago in October.

S.K.A.T.E DOWNTOWN OPEN

Following on from the huge success of the Downtown Open Denver, and with the cancellation of Summer XGames, consumers were craving for live action sports and Pacifico once again led from the front during a pandemic year where in-person events were put on pause. Taking over a warehouse space in Chicago, we safely flew in 6 of the biggest skaters in the world to compete in a first of its kind elevated game of S.K.A.T.E. To further amplify the competition and bring it validity we partnered with Transworld Skateboarding, an iconic action sports media entity and Transition Productions; a production house responsible for Jackass, Nitro Circus and Dew Tour. The event was live streamed across Transworlds YouTube channel and Facebook pages, hitting 230k live viewers between the two platforms.
